Welcome back! Our first meeting of Spring Quarter, will be Monday, April 24th from 5-6pm in Pierce Hall 1428. Come and stop by! We would love to see all of you there. Not to mention, there will be food!
Mark your calendars for 2017 Spring Quarter meeting dates:
DeltaSIFY is back again for Spring Quarter! All of the officers are looking forward to welcoming old and new members to our student organization. President J.F. Kennedy once said, "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try," so never underestimate just how much your actions and words of encouragement can impact a young individual's life. Though we may not always be able to do all great things alone, teamwork makes the dream work, so please hesitate to join our team today! We have a lot of great activities coming up and I assure you that you don't want to miss any of them!
We now have a room in Pierce Hall!
Indeed, you did not read wrong. We now have Pierce 1428 reserved for DeltaSIFY's usage.
We were given this room as a sign of support from the CNAS Dean at UCR. It truly means a lot to us because it shows that our work is being valued and is making an impact in our own community. We hope this room can become a place of memory and support to both UCR students and prospective students as we reach out to the schools around us.

Tabling on Wednesdays
Come help recruit new members with us on Wednesday. Drop by the UCR Bell Tower anytime between 10am-1pm and tell other undergraduates at UCR what you love about being a Delta SIFY member! Encourage others to join the cause of motivating underrepresented high school students to pursue college and a career in STEM.
Congratulations, Strauss Winners!
The club founders, Hanni & Jade, have striven in every endeavor to win the Strauss Scholarship for DeltaSIFY.
Why? With the funding given by the foundation, we will be able to reach out to more youth in the underserved and educationally disadvantaged communities. The $10,000 will allow us, as a student-organization, to bring more scientific experiments to a greater amount of people and, most importantly, to continue to urge and inspire the youth to pursue a higher education, especially in the field of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). What is Next? We would like to thank everyone who has joined us on this journey to make this possible. We would also like to thank the Strauss Foundation for providing us the funding and believing in the importance of science for youth. The money will be utilized to benefit a greater radius of the youth in the Inland Empire. We hope more people will join us on this road to making a difference in the lives of young people through STEM activities and workshops! |
